The babies of the playgroup have arrived, welcome Sophie Hughes, Ashton Murray, Bridget Ritter and Dana Hoffman.

What a boost for the playgroup numbers.

We have several new members to the playgroup also, welcome Sonja and Charli, Amber and Kynan, and Kellie with Grace and Tiffany.

Happy birthday to Holly who had her birthday in October.

We will celebrate the November birthdays on November 15.

Playgroup has some exciting events coming up during November.

November 1 is craft day (wear old clothes and enjoy painting, playdough and collage), November 8 is Hat Day (wear your favourite hat), November 15 the kids will enjoy a play circuit, November 22 is Bike/Wheel day (bring your bike to the beer garden)and November 29 is water play day (kids wear your swimmers and expect to get wet).

Lightning Ridge Playgroup annual general meeting dinner is on Friday November 5 at 7pm at the Ridge Rock Café.

Playgroup belongs to everybody so if you have any ideas or changes you would like to see, come along and have your say.

We are always looking for new parents and children to join in our fun.

So come along and join us on Monday mornings 9.30am to 11.30am in the Bowlers Lounge at the Bowling Club.

Your first and second visits are free and if you continue coming you will be required to pay a 2004/05 membership fee to Playgroup NSW Inc of $35 (this fee covers your family's membership until February 2006, insurance plus a membership to Totline magazine which you receive in the mail).

A session attendance fee to the playgroup is a gold coin donation (this session fee covers the cost of your child's activity and parents morning tea cost).

Morning tea is provided for parents, however we ask you to bring a piece of fruit and drink for your child.
