 Big-name band for Big Ball

Big-name band for Big Ball

21 May, 2003 06:38 PM
Lightning Ridge's bi-annual Big Ball to be held on Saturday night at the Lightning Ridge District Bowling Club will this year play host to Sydney's favourite party band, Jellybean Jam.

Deliciously tasty, with full flavoured hits of yesteryear combined with scrumptious servings of current chart fillers, have given Jellybean Jam a recipe for success and have established them as Australia's hardest working party act.

They have more than 1800 shows to their credit.

Non-stop medleys will ensure non-stop dancing complete with tongue-in-cheek interpretations of the most memorable party tunes.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to see Australia's number one party band.

All are welcome, phone Wren Casement on 6829 0851 or Jo Strasek on 6829 0325 for an invitation.

The strictly black-tie affair will kick off at 7:30pm and for $75 per head or $140 per double partygoers will receive a smorgasbord dinner and drinks.

There is a financial limit on the bar but proceeds will go to local charities.

A recovery will be held at the Lightning Ridge Hotel Motel from 11am on Sunday.
