John Murray joined fellow 'Utes in the Paddock' artists who opened the 'Utes at the Carrington' exhibition in Katoomba on Saturday October 31, which features over 100 works from the men and women that dedicated their time to the grand project.
The celebrations rocked into the wee hours of the next morning with live music from the local band 'The Utezillas'.
The exhibition is running for two weeks and is selling CDs, books and other merchandise with all proceeds being donated straight to raising mental health in the Central West.
The 'Utes in the Paddock' project has come a long way since the erection of the first piece by John Murray, the infamous flying Ute 'Circle Work'.
Since then everything has snowballed with 15 Utes in total inhabiting the area and much interest shown elsewhere, in particular from contemporary artists in Sydney.
