 New manager brings fresh ideas

New manager brings fresh ideas

19 Jan, 2012 10:10 AM
Paul Coulton took the reins at the Lightning Ridge Outback Resort last December after moving to the Ridge with wife Stacey and baby daughter Rahni.

Tamworth born and bred, Paul has 22 years experience in hospitality and management.

He and his wife travelled Australia for three and a half years relief managing motels.

Paul is looking forward to the challenge in providing something different and unique to the locals as well as the tourist. Starting with menu changes in the restaurant opening in February, Paul is looking at doing a “World Exotic Taste” theme with fancy dress and foods from around the world. He would also like to start a pool and darts competition, but is firstly focusing on staff development.

Paul has been involved in various committees and spent many years being involved with Tamworth’s Country Festival, so he is looking forward to this year’s Easter Festival and the busy period the weekend brings to the Resort.
