On behalf of the Lightning Ridge Olympic Pool Association, I would like to thank and congratulate Lightning Ridge Diving for doing such a wonderful job hosting the 2012 NSW Country Diving Championships during the weekend. You all did an amazing job.
The whole event was carried out perfectly, with many of the competitors and their families going out of their way to say that these championships have been the best they have been to yet.
Huge thanks to all the committee members, divers and parents of Lightning Ridge Diving for all the many months of work that went into planning the event and making it such a success.
Thank you to all of those who volunteered during the weekend doing the countless jobs required to make the meet run smoothly. Particular thanks to Zuzana Sisa, Amanda Cheal, Charlotte Mallouk, Sharyn McKay, Danielle King, Maude Harrison, Rebecca McKenzie, Penny Lehman , Kylie Norton, Melissa Tooth, Janelle Yeomans, Faye and Kevin Wallace and Roman Sisa. You all did a wonderful job.
A big thank you to the Lightning Ridge Swimming Club for doing the barbecue during the weekend. Everyone definitely appreciated and enjoyed the yummy food you provided. Thank you Crystal, Chris, Louise and Kieren.
Also thanks to the Lightning Ridge Gymnastics Club for their kindness in allowing the Diving Club to use all their gymnastics equipment through the past six months and also for the use of their projector and screen at the weekend. Your kindness and generosity is very much appreciated.
Big thanks to Robyn White and Zuzana and Catherine Sisa for the wonderful banner they made for the Diving Club. It looked awesome.
Also thanks to the Ridge Butchery for donating some of the meat, for the meet and greet barbecue. Your kindness is much appreciated.
Special thanks go to Zuzana Sisa, Charlotte Mallouk, Sharyn Mckay and Danielle King for all the time spent training our kids, preparing them for the competition.
Without all the countless hours you all put in, our kids wouldn’t be where they are today. Well done.
All your hard work has definitely paid off. Huge thanks to the wonderful Allen Bull, who came up from Sydney (once again) and spent the past two-and-a-half weeks in the Ridge helping our coaches prepare the kids for the Championships.
