Last week we kicked off the festive season with our Visitor Information Centre Christmas Party. All volunteers, employees and partners gathered for a great buffet dinner in the dining room at the bowling club.
The staff at the club really outdid themselves with a seemingly endless buffet of roast meats, cold cuts, seasoned meats, steamed fish, salads, vegetables, pastas, bread rolls, fruit platters and an array of desserts, not to mention the gorgeously decorated table setting - thanks for looking after us guys.
It was great to get a chance to have everyone together to celebrate - we all work at the same place but with 10 different shifts a week sometimes never touch base. It’s also a chance to show the volunteers how much they are appreciated (thank you to the LRTA for covering the costs of this event.)
I would like to extend my thanks to all of my volunteers and employees for an amazing year. I couldn’t have done it without you.
Quote of the week: “Really interesting place - love it.”

Industry News: Destination NSW is opening an office in Mumbai, India in recognition of the importance of the market to the State’s tourism industry (last year NSW received 65,000 visitors from India.)
This brings their total number of international offices to seven alongside Singapore, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Auckland, London and Tokyo. Information derived from http://enews.tourism.nsw.gov.au
