Camp Quality’s outback motoring adventure, esCarpade, has set its sights on Lightning Ridge for 2009,
planning several days of fun, challenges, rewards and laughter to raise money and awareness for the family cancer charity.
The crew will arrive on the afternoon of next Tuesday and are inviting the community to come out and take part in some of the activities they have planned.
They will begin their Ridge adventure with a dinner at Lorne Station from 7pm.
The next day’s fun, on Wednesday, will include sporting challenges and a cricket match between noon and 2pm with locals at the park on the corner of Onyx and Kaolin streets.
Following this lunch will be available at the Lightning Ridge Hotel Motel.
A puppet show will be performed for primary students at the central school on Thursday morning before heading to the Glengarry Hilton for lunch and more challenges.
If you cannot make it to any of the fun and games take a short detour and take a look at some of the ‘crazy cars’ the team are travelling in.
